I think in general some version of Dvorak + Armia for Monahan makes a lot of sense for both the Habs and the Flames. The thing is, though, Armia and Monahan are cap dumps that sort of balance each other out since. Dvorak is the real value contract and honestly, worth much more than just a 2R. Habs don't want Valimaki because they have way too many young LD already. So, I think the better approach would be something like:

MTL: Monahan + 1R + 3R
CAL: Dvorak + Armia

(Which is basically Dvorak for a 1R + 3R and Monahan for Armia)

How about just Dvorak for a 1st? If the Flames need cap space we'll trade Armia for Lucic straight up.

Habs need Cap space too.

Habs only need about 2.5M in cap space in order to sign Dach and have the available funds to bring players up and down from Laval

Also Lucic expires at the end of the year but Armia has 2 more years, so we will have cap space when we need it.
