Shall I remind you? Bjorkstrand was just traded for 3rd and 4th. How do you think Anderson is worth a first and top prospect?

Dude seriously…5.5M isn’t much for a powerfoward, playoff guy, leader in the locker room that can score around 20 goals. Saying he has negative value just points out your misunderstanding of the game.

Even if Edmonton trades barrie they don't have the cap space for that. They've got RFAs to sign and they're in cap hell already.

Not to mention that Ken Holland would get fired for doing that trade...

Josh Anderson, noted "playoff guy": 43 gp, 8g, 6a, 93 shots.

By your description, he sounds like exactly the kind of player MTL should have around their young core. Keep him and save us the trouble.

R u joking? 19-13-32 in 69 GP, not even a .5 PPG player. Andrew Mangiapgne is making similar on a shorter term and had 35-20-55 in 82, and with some of the best analytics in the NHL.

Anderson is severely overpaid and terrible term

Just saying that "negative value" is wildly an overstatement that's all

its not tho. Players getting paid 5.5 and producing at a 2-3 mil value with term have negative value. Bjorkstrand is a far better player and got almost nothing. Why would Anderson get anything, let alone more
