A tad bit too much AAV maybe (Mangiapane never had a big offensive year prior to this past season), but overall a solid short-term signing. Good job by Treliving this offseason doing the best with the lousy cards he's been dealt.

I think that AAV should ideally have at least an extra year, but it's still decent for two-way threat in his prime like Mangiapane.

Pretty great risk management by Treliving here. How many other 35G scorers can be signed for under $6M? Especially when they only score 11 PPP's.

A+

I like the money but not the term

I was thinking 5.5mill x 6 years but to avoid a bad arb hearing got to do what you got to do.

He's just a good player who's worth this or more. Ideally would've been longer term but I bet he sees himself as between a $6.5-7M player.

Adrian Kempe blows doors over him... Suddenly I feel better about Kempe's contract.

Was this last season a fluke? If so, this contract will look really bad by the end. If not, then this will be a bargain.

Lmao you really believe this? Kempe doesn't drive offense and he's a sinkhole defensively. Mangiapane is a driver of good results on both sides of the puck.

too soon for that... needed a bridge to really find out. Sure he had a 1 hit wonder, nice numbers too, but prior to it?? not so much.

Voted No, would've liked a bridge for around 3.5-4 imo
Mange has impressed and his numbers in recent years are faulted with shortened and disarray filled seasons. He very well could have had another 50 point season without that nonsense. He can certainly prove me wrong and I hope he does

Overall a solid bridge-deal.

Bridge deals have RFA expiries.

This is just a regular deal.

I see him as one of their 2nd line wingers, possibly with Coleman. Question is if the 2C is Backlund or Monahan.
Toffoli probably on the top line.
