    Rangers need to rid themselves of Dan Girardi. Might as well have a cone on defense. It would be a lot cheaper lmao

    Girardi while his best years are behind him, is still solid bottom pair d-man for 1 year. If he is bought out this summer it hurts the cap but if he goes next year its a year less and less of a cap hit. The key is to sit him and play Holden so each play half the year and hopefully keep G healthy, if not we get cap relief if he goes on IR. Obviously this only works if Staal is traded for a top RH d-man
