but you cant pay him anything over that unless you are getting 3 years. if you look at all defenders that are left shot 2 mill / 2-3 years is the max.

If you think the Leafs need to add a sweetener to “dump” a 50 point player who makes league min in for the rest of the season in real dollars, then I don’t know what to tell you
