I wouldn't quite call them lucky, but I definitely agree with the sentiment. Finland throughly outplayed them for the 3rd period and most of OT-but McTavish's save changed everything.


It felt like the refs were betting on Canada - rarely called a penalty on them. It was a one sided game in that respect.

That was bloody insane, I went from losing my mind when McTavish somehow whacked it out of the way to losing my mind even more when Kent scored....

Full props to Juha Jatkola, he was exceptional tonight, I can't believe I'd never heard of him

Yes in the sense that penalties were 7-1 to CAN, but they got the calls mostly right-FIN did commit more penalties than CAN

2023 team Canada is gonna be very interesting to watch as there will be new blood on the team

Czechia is also gonna be very interesting as they got an interesting goalie coming in who is slated to be a 1st rounder

Sweden probs gonna fall and USA is probs gonna stay the same with the addition of Fantali

Hopefully this whole Ukraine situation gets fixed so those russian kids can be allowed to return. Want to see my boy Michkov play

There were 2-3 calls that were never made on Canada, they let it go. I don't care if they let them play, but call it fair for both sides
