If Montreal wants to dump cap they will need to pay and this is not paying.

Dvorak is fine player but overpaid, Armia is a cap dump and Hoffman is not the kind of player after the whole Ottawa issue that a young Hawks to will want to bring in to the locker room.

Cap might go up a bit, in which case Habs could keep Armia, letting Roy develop for another year in the AHL instead of taking 4th line duties, they could buy out Hoffman, and trade Dvorak who has some value.
