Blues because Barzal can play C. Also think he has a much higher ceiling than Kyrou

Depends on extensions really. I'd certainly rather have Kyrou at $2.8M vs Barzal at $7M, but if Kyrou's extension is $2M more than Barzal's next summer, then that changes things.

Tarasenko >>> Bailey. The 2nd probably covers the salary retention, but doesn't cover the value gap.

NYI wins this trade IMO.

The Isles by a fair margin.

I personally think Barzal is the player to have in this scenario but NYI win value-wise since Bailey and a 2nd just doesn't cover the gap between Barzal & Tarasenko (retained) + Kyrou

Whoever gets the 1C wins...in this case, the Blues win

Except the Blues already have TWO 1Cs. So no they don't.

As much as I like Kyrou and as much as Tarasenko is far better than Bailey, getting Barzal would be amazing. As fast as Kyrou and is a better overall player. If Tarasenko signs an extension then Islanders win.

If Tarasenko extends, then absolutely. If not, then it's pretty close to fair.

3 > 2 (moar!)

But maybe as ROR replacement? I don’t know. I was judging it in a vacuum.

I mean sure but that is trading away our 2 snipers for 2 playmakers, without perron we need guys that can put the puck in the net any way they can.
value wise maybe its fair but circumstance wise its not

It doesn't serve their needs, is my point. Even even if Barzal magically showed up on the Blues, he'd be playing on the wing anyway.

As for Dad, I'm assuming he'll be extended before too terribly long.
