Description
This is a long one.....bare with me.

Pacioretty - our most tradable asset when considering points, cap hit, and years remaining on contract. Result, replacing him with an Elite C. (Tavares)

Replace Pacioretty's presence on the LW with Drouin via Offer Sheet from the cap-strapped Lightning.

It really doesn't matter who Vegas takes (hudon, emelin, plekanec) as long as one of the last 2 are traded for cap space.

Looking at the future.....you can sign Price and Tavares to at least 9.5 mil EACH, Danault at under 3.5 mil (respectable $$ if he puts up another 40 point season) , and give the rest (davidson, mccarron) qualifying offers which will fit under the cap.

Don't forget, the cap might go up to around 75 mil.

BOTTOM LINE....this is all possible even with 2 HUGE potential contracts in Tavares and Price.

Do the math, it makes sense and is our winning team, if there will be one in the next few years.

    If that's an offer sheet on Drouin it can only be for 7 years not 8 years, Only Tampa can do 8 years.

    Couldn't figure out where to list it. Have it in the description as offer sheet.
