Miller had had 1 season where he was at least half a point per game player and that was in 2017-18. Klingberg and Barrie are in a different tier of offensive puckmovers

Why would Edmonton make this trade? It makes their roster much worse.

Miller, if healthy, is an overall better player 5v5. I don’t think people realize how poor Klinger is at even strength. They’re banking on several things to make up the difference offensively. DeBoer is an offensive upgrade on Bowness. Marchie is a massive upgrade on Rads who fell off a cliff at the end of that contract. Miller is an upgrade on Hanley. Harley should hopefully take a big step forward and get consistent minutes. The power play is a potential problem area. Need more from Miro. Hopefully Harley can take the second unit. Time will tell. On paper we look worse than last year but I see a lot of potential for more internally

I’m pretty sure Robertson and Oettinger are going to take up just about all of our remaining cap. I don’t see Nill making any more moves unless it’s a big one
