You mean way to much from MTL...

Guhle and Beck are not available to be trade, First of MTL could be a top 5 easily and while Drouin don't have a good value right now, he still have only one year left on is contract and that still better then other contract in MTL.

Also why paying that high price when you can just wait 2 years and get it for free and even if he never came to MTL and sign elsewhere next two years that okay because we're in rebuilding mode and adding Dubois won't remplace the hole your creating by trade Guhle and Beck who could be a very good third center.

Suzuki - Dach - Beck - Evans seen to me a decent line center. There may not have a big superstar able to produce 80+ pts but there range would be around the 60 pts and good defensive playstyle.

To get a Montreal 1st in the next 2 years, yes we would likely need to boost the value in a trade to Montreal seeing as they can get him in fa when theyre ready to compete

Then you're just losing the trade or not really gaining much.

Not how I see it Guhle projects better than Ville at this point, Beck and a top 15 maybe top 5 pick might be the best deal we can get in this predicament

This is literally not gaining anything, just swapping prospects and Dubois for an ussumed top 15 pick in 2024 and Drouin, the Habs will likely want conditions on that pick that if it's top 5 they push it to 2025.

I think getting Florida's 2023 1st would be much better, they've lost their #2 dman in Weegar, no guarantee that Tkachuk will fit there, they're missing Duclair for a good chunk of the season, Marchment is gone, have little cap space to make improvements, have traded most of their 1sts and have hired a defensive minded coach for a team that won with being all offense. They're a candidate to regress imo.
