The Start of something new. Only 1 Profile made so far (Tanner Adams, Forward) but I want to get the links out so that you guys can see the new format I've been tinkering with throughout the summer. Let me know what you think. IMO it's a LOT more info that I can get to you guys about each prospect, which I like. But again, let me know. Nothing is set in stone, and I'm willing to backtrack on progress made already if there's enough negativity around the new format. .

Good list.

I would include Matthew Wood somewhere in the top 10. Also two good goalie prospects, Scott Ratzlaff and Yegor Zavragin.

I like Noa Vali as well. But yes, very exciting draft class.

Thank you. The link to last years guide is on each of the current years guides. I don’t have the link at my disposal currently but I know I put it there.

Yeah there’s a few guys considered for a top 15 spot. Woods happens to be one of those guys. What do you think of the new format. I know you saw last years guide, a lot is different for this year, and I’d like some input on whether or not to continue building this project or to restart with the older (and easier) format

I love the new format so much, I like the addition of floor and a long description of your thoughts on the player, adds a lot more depth to your profiles and helps me in making my rankings too lol

Edit: You can take Ivan Zhigalov out of the goalie pool, pretty sure he was pick 225 last year

I really enjoyed your draft guide for the 2022 draft and this one looks really complete and promising. I like watching prospects during the year so your analyzes are interesting.

For that top 15, I really like Cameron Allen for Team Canada during the Hlinka-Gretzky tournament. What do you think about him ?

He was, thank you. And thanks for the thoughts on new format, it’ll probably take me longer to update you guys because of all the info on each profile but worth it I think

Thank you. As for Allen, I actually like him a lot. He’s good in all three zones, solid size (a bit short for a defender but more than makes up for it being 190 plus pounds). All situations kind of defender. Shows flashes of a really high hockey iq, but needs to make more consistent and quick decisions. Overall should be a lock in the first round, and could be a top 15 pick. Just not on my ranking for top 15 as of right now.

Yea Vali is also in my honorable mentions for my first round rankings, haven't seen enough of him to put him in my first round. Stats look amazing! Excited to see this year's draft class, it looks amazing.

Though too bad we don't get to see Bedard vs. Michkov till 2026-27.

Yeah. I just don’t know if a goalie cracks the first round this year. Too strong of a draft class (which is a nice problem to have)

You still going to do rankings on the slides or no? Admittedly, with more in-depth explanations rankings aren’t needed as much but it’s a nice touch

Rankings will be done on here. Updated probably every couple of months, starting with a 1 round ranking, then expanding as I continue to make more profiles. The “ranking” on the Guide will be where I project each player to land in the draft instead of a concrete number (for Adams, I believe I put rounds 3-5 as my projection) those will be updated more frequently.

You have an Ethan Del Mastro as part of your defense player pool and unless there's a 2nd one, he was a 2021 Hawks pick. You also have a Lukas Dragicevic and Lukas Dravicevic who i'm pretty sure is the same person
