Just discovered this aspect of Capfriendly, after many years of visiting the site daily. Despite being a moron, I'm pretty excited to have found this tool.

I don't think the Sabres would do this, they need to stay above the floor. Also, I don't think teams are lining up to pay 2.2 million for a 4th line winger, especially if it costs a 3rd round pick.

Thanks! Looking forward to the interactions.

I don't think the Sabres would either. They have a soft spot for Z, and rightfully so. They'd be lacking on the PK and with Center depth. Poor Z, just don't think there is going to be a spot for him next year.

Davidson's motivation would be to flip Z at the deadline for a 2nd -- or a 3rd and a 4th. Chicago could use his PK abilities up til then, as their current roster doesn't really have anyone other than Khaira that is at least avg at killing penalties.

Personally don't like that Garland trade, Canucks shouldn't be adding a draft pick for the 2 players we're getting back. Buffalo probably has to add one of the seconds from Philly or Buffalo to make it even.

Welcome. Chicago declines as the 3rd round pick has more value to Chicago, who is a burn to the ground rebuild.
