I actually think this would be a good pickup for Florida. Would fit well with either Gudas or Montour and would definately help with the loss of Huberdeau and Weegar on the pp. AZ would likely have to eat some money but who knows

That is not a 12 month recovery; it is 2-4 months.

Duclair will be back sometime this coming season.
Not sure Hornqvist would waive to go to Arizona.

I think almost all the futures involved in the trade would be used simply to take on Hornqvist's cap alone..... I think the cost would be higher than this to get Ghost too. Arizona would much rather retain cap than take on more salary with Horny. Ghost makes ALOT less than Hornqvist does this season.

Ghost season salary: 1M (his bonus is already paid out)
Horny season salary: 5.3M
