NSH declines. They don't have a ton of RD prospects. They're not going to trade one of their better ones for roster glut.

Habs have 3 goalies signed. Why would they want DiPietro without giving two up? Can you elaborate on why this deal makes sense to you?

Montreal has been rumoured to be interested in Depietro, that’s all

If he's 23 and not playing in the NHL, he's probably more of a backup project and Habs already have 2 in Primeau & Monty. This is nonsense.

That rumour does not exist in Montreal. We have Price, Monty, Primeau. We're good.
