You're wild if you think they decline that. That is a fantastic return for a guy they probably can't keep for past 23/24

First off, You're not i\even in the ballpark for PLD.

Secondly no way in hell does PLD sign for 8x7 try more like 8x8 at the very least.

The Mackenzie Weegar signing is laugh Try more like 7-8 years @ $6,500,000 to sign Weegar not that low ball offer that he doesn't even consider.

Ok then, winnipeg don’t need prospect and picks i guess, only player that will upgrade the group but never pass the second in playoff

Wow so Nick Suzuki only makes $125,000 less than $8,000,000 and yeah Pierre-Luc Dubois is worth at least what Suzuki is making $7,875,000 per.

He is an asset though, and the value of that package is great. Jets would take it if offered. As a Flames' fan, I'm not saying we should do that trade, but WPG wins it. Pelletier and the first would get you an young Center and you would still have a 2nd to show for it.

If you had Huby, PLD, and Dube all on the same line, it would be called 'The French Connection '

Pelletier and the first is nice, but Pelletier as a tiny winger isn't likely something the Jets target if moving a young top 6C.

You're better off trying again next summer as Dubois won't be moved now until at least the TDL unless the offer is astounding.

A 5’9 LW… lmao… no thanks.
Not only is LW not a need in WPG, but little ones are especially not required.

As for fantastic return… a late 1st, a 2nd 2 years away, and that 5’9 LW, for a 24 yr old 1C… not even close

You don't know much at all about Pelletier if you are summing him up as a 5'9 player. He is a Marchand lile player, lots of strength and pesky. Irritating to play against and lots of skill. Strong 2-way game and can play both sides, as well as dome center. He probably will end up as a winger with the occasional faceoff but the age of writing someone off for their height has long passed. There is a reason he is one of the best prospects in the league and I would be very surprised if Dubois returns a better one

I know he’s an LW and the Jets have zero need for LW… you don’t know much about WPG if you think otherwise.
Also, personally, I have zero interest in anyone under 5’11.

You're missing the point. You will not get a prospect of Pelletier's caliber for him. If this was offered, regardless of team need, you take it in a heartbeat. The best prospect Eichel got (who is way better than PLD) was Krebs. Pelletier is at least on par with Krebs

I disagree… he’s not the great.
First off… he doesn’t play a position of need, so no thanks
Second, he’s small and the Jets need size and grit, so no thanks
Lastly, this offer is not the best we could get, so no thanks

The guy has a fantastic 2-way game and was a near ppg as a rookie in the AHL next year, he is "that great"
Position of need is irrelevant when it's an overpay as stated before
Being small is again irrelevant when it's an overpay as stated before
Name a prospect you think he can return that's better than Pelletier
