I feel like a lot has to happen, but yeah it's definitely possible. Excited to see how Pinto does in a 2/3C role

I feel for Sanderson if he comes out struggling. Not hating, I like the Sens next year. But boy are Sens fans expecting a lot from him

Pinto is a stud , so excited to watch him play. One of my fav players so solid on the defensive end and has offence to his game too

Do I need to list the number of players picked in the top 5 that have been busts. By no means am I suggesting Sanderson will, but expecting him to be a star or not have any growing pains simply because he was a top 5 pick is silly

I don't think he needs to be a Calder candidate to give them what they need as a rookie. He just needs to be capable of being net positive in roughly 20 minutes a night, which is pretty reasonable to expect from a 20 year old top 5 pick who is 6'2 and elite skating and defensively.

I don't think it's unreasonable to think he could be similar to a K'Andre Miller.

Yup no doubting his talent against College players. But if you want to ensure that Jake Sanderson is insulated in his introduction to pro hockey in a top 4 role, pairing him with Hamonic is maybe the worst way you could go about doing so.

That type of player is easily projectable. One of my easiest calls in the last decade.

He will be with Zub 100%. Hamonic and Zaitsev are bad fits with Zaitsev tho
