I know what you’re trying to do here but McAvoy is definitely not overpaid. He’s a top 5 d man in the nhl. Meanwhile the market value for most team’s top defenseman is 9.5 million and over, while McAvoy is better than almost all of them.

Panarin is a great playmaker but he’s the second highest paid player in the nhl, above guys like Matthews, Draisaitl, Mackinnon, Barkov, Huberdeau, Crosby, Makar, and more. He got paid 529k per goal this past regular season meaning his salary is more than half of his goal total from 2021-2022 regular season.

Your statement that the Rangers would have to pay to dump him is ludicrous. And it's also moot as the Rangers have no desire to trade him. It's just a ridicules post.

Of course I know that this trade is stupid and would never happen. No matter their salary, a superstar like Panarin would get a big return. And the Rangers don’t want to trade him either.

Bread is one of the best playmakers in the league, tally up his $/assists lol. We'd miss the playoffs without him. If/when we trade him it's after 24 season. Either way we can retain up to half and cash in

And Panarin is a top 5 LW in the league... Rangers will not cap dump their allstar... One bad playoffs doesn't break a career full of accolades

Then why post the trade and add in a silly comment that you just contradicted?
