CHI realistically should hang up the phone. The lack of a 23' 1st round pick and no prospect to go with a cap dump.....

Gotta have a 2023 first minimum especially if they are dumping zucker too

Zucker doesn't waive to one of the current worst teams in the NHL, Plus that's not nearly enough for Patrick Kane @ 50% retention.

Except the '24 first is probably a better placement. The 23 will be in the low-mid 20's at least. I'd think they take their chances and ask for the '25 first... which will probably be in the teens.

Apparently people have said that all the Canadian teams are on his list due to family issues. Add in ARI and you're already at 8/10 teams. There's a chance CHI doesn't make the list.

The value might be a little low - but I don't think by that much

KD has shown preference for Recency and with the impression that the 23' draft will be a deep one, theres incentive enough to prefer a 23' pick.
