Description
The Toronto Maple Leafs window for glory, greatness and cup wins is just getting started for the team and all Leafs fans around the world.

Kyle Dubas has assembled an incredible team and improved the team's third and fourth lines and the goaltending this offseason with a number of under the radar player moves which the media has not recognized.

The Leafs with their solid core of players in Matthews, Marner, Tavares, Nylander, Rielly, Muzzen and Brodie when combined with their shut down third line, great new 4th line energy line, under-rated new money goaltenders in Murrary and Samsonov, emerging high-end prospects moving up to the team and tremendous coaching staff point to the commencement of a period of unmatched success, glory, greatness and cup wins for the Leafs and their fan base.

Too bad he only did that when Healthy on much better Pens teams. And he hasn’t been healthy since, and the Leafs are not the Pens.

If you ignore all the games murray let in a goal, he actually has a 0.00 GAA and a 1.000 SV%. This would make him the best goalie in NHL history

I love how you put Muzzin in your "solid core of players" and then LTIR him so you can actually have a full lineup and disregrd the salary cap

The main reason Murray won those 2 cups wasn’t from his own efforts, but the efforts of the team in front of him. He is just another goalie who benefits mightily from playing behind an elite team, much like Ned and Mrazek during their time in Carolina. The Leafs basically got a more expensive Mrazek to be the starter this year.

Those were a lifetime ago and it was only one Fleury was in net for the first one

Didn't you read the description? Muzzin is a big part of this teams "solid core", he does that but stubbing a toe every week and staying on LTIR for the season.

I will not be surprised to see the Leafs and alot of other teams in the NHL with no Cap space right now.......use the LTIR at beginning of year to get under the Cap and could be for any player injured during exhibition games

You and I both know .......that you can always find a doctor who is willing to write a note to exclude you from work for an injury.......no different in the NHL.
