Arizona wants picks if they're gonna take your bad contracts. If you look up their trade history for the past 6 months, they're not doing any favors to anyone

Literally said in the trade above they acquire him so they can trade him for a pick at the deadline. They also still need to reach the cap floor.

So, you make a deal for a stay at home D, when the Habs already have Edmundson and Savard ? Further, you now stunt the growth of Harris and Barron?

Either you are a troll or a delusional Hans fan that thinks they can male the playoffs.

The blueline is fine. Let it marinate. Habs issues are at forward.... namely some nasty contracts.

But that is a Leafs fans take.

Habs aren't doing that. Calgary also isn't trading Zadorov in general

Arizona will hit the cap floor when they re-sign Crouse/Hayton.

As for acquiring a bad contract with no assets attached so they can potentially get a pick at the deadline? That seems like the opposite of what teams taking on cap dumps do...you get something attached to him now, and then, if it works out, you flip him and get something more. If it doesn't work out, then you've still got the asset from before.

That's literally not what i said though.

Arizona will not take on your ****ty contract for nothing. Them "maybe" getting something later at the deadline isn't in their interest broski.
