Nick Foligno makes more than him.

Gotta make an edit for acktualllyyy people...

Obviously I'm only counting the base salary of $2.5 million.

Foligno makes $3.8 million.

No he doesn't. $2.5M in bonus money. Likely will be something easy like playing 10 games.

Good signing can’t complain 5 million if all bonuses are hit on 2.5 cap is a huge bargain.

I absolutely hate the bruins, but I have a ton of respect for this guy. He’s probably my favourite bruin.

Also, can anyone explain the fact that he has a 2.5 mil AAV but a 5 mil salary? I know signing bonuses but this still doesn’t make sense. Does it have something to do with overage charges?

AAV = Base salary plus performance bonuses. In this case, it's $2,5M + $2,5M.

Should Bergeron get all performance bonuses they will be paid as overages the next year I think.

Pasta's injured? That would be news to every Bruins fan and probably the front office as well.

I was really hoping this class act would retire to screw the Bruins over. But then of course he’s a total class act. When will the Bruins finally rebuild? Signed the Atlantic division.
