No reason the rebuilding Ducks give up something this substantial for 1 year of a 33 year old, regardless how good they are

Your right also I don't think Kane would resign with them. He's not very interested in rebuilding team. So we can forget him for this team: Arizona, Anaheim, Chicago, Minnesota (don't have money to), Montreal, Philadelphie.

The team who have the most potential to have him is probably New York Ranger because I think Kane would want to play again with is buddy Panarin. Kane - Zibanejab - Panarin could be a awesome lineup

Not giving up too much. Just an at best 3rd liner, a bad contract and then a first. If they resigned kane then they win that trade

*At worst a 3rd liner

Hawks need to take cap back if they arent retaining so that doesnt impact the deal

the 2023 1st alone is too much for the Ducks too much to give for Kane, it makes no sense for a rebuilding team to trade for Kane, and Kane doesnt want to be in a rebuild

Chicago would jump all over that but the Ducks wouldn't offer it. Can't see why the Ducks would trade for him at all, they aren't contenders looking for a 1 year rental to push them over the top.

Good trade on paper.
But no sense.

Why Anaheim give top 5, 1st pick for à 34 year old player ?
