The Oppressive Regime of Chuck Fletcher

Created by: Iggy11
Team: 2022-23 Philadelphia Flyers
Initial Creation Date: Aug. 8, 2022
Published: Aug. 8, 2022
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
If there's ever been a year to tank, this is a pretty good one to do it.
Trades
1.
PHI
  1. Niederbach, Theodor [Reserve List]
  2. Oesterle, Jordan
  3. Viro, Eemil
  4. 2023 2nd round pick (STL)
  5. 2024 1st round pick (DET)
Additional Details:
Restock the shelf of prospects and try build a core that can grow together.
DET
  1. Sanheim, Travis
Additional Details:
DET has spent a lot on the left side this offseason, but Sanheim is somebody you take a shot at. Think their window is a lot closer than people would like to believe.
2.
PHI
  1. Perreault, Jacob
Additional Details:
Love the idea of Konecny in PHI, but for whatever reason it hasn't worked out. JP is just about NHL ready, and he lines up with the idea of a young core.
ANA
  1. Konecny, Travis
Additional Details:
TK gives ANA some scoring pop on the wing, think you can throw him anywhere in the top 6 and he'll thrive.

Based it off the return for Hampus Lindholm, think that may be the asking price for top 4 d nowadays.

I doubt the wings or ducks are moving picks or prospects for either of those guys. Just feels like they’ll wait an extra year before doing anything like that. Maybe another team tho.

They can ask, but doubtful Yzerman would bite. Neiderbach and 1st are a no go and then to ask for more is really asking way to much. Comparing Lindholm kind of package for TS is way off.

I agree. I wouldn't give up a 1st to get Sanheim.

Boston acquired Lindholm at the TDL and you do pay a premium at TDL. Lindholm wouldn't bring in that return right now.

Sanheim and Lindholm are almost identical in terms of stats except Sanheims analytics are better. He is definitely worth a first and a decent prospect. With an extension, he would be worth about what Lindholm got.

Agree with this. The deal isn’t actually bad value wise for ANA. It’s just that it doesn’t really make sense based on where they’re at in the rebuild. Maybe next year
