Description

Alright 2.3 is not enough for Zacha with Wagner Buried. I think someone like Reilly could be traded if we get a defenseman cheap back. I think Nosek or Foglino could be traded for cap. What do you think will happen. Answer below the following 3 questions:

1. Who do you think will be traded and what do you think the package will be?
2. What does a Zacha deal look like?
3. Does a guy like Subban make sense if he wants to come here cheap?

They don’t need to move anyone right now, just put March & McAvoy on LTIR so they can keep the lineup competitive. Plus most teams have their roster set for opening day.

When they get healthy they only need to move Reilly. At best he’ll fetch a 3rd, worse is a 5th. It will be easier to move him then once teams evaluate their roster and fill needs.

They can send Foligno to PRO since he only carries a m-ntc this year instead of a full nmc. Gives sweeney about 1.5m in space with a full 23 roster and considering Zacha signs for 3.5x3 or 4 years.

Also no thank you to subban, Cliff & Zboril are better and deserve to play over him

They don't need to trade anyone right now, but it would be better to do it now than in-season imo. Foligno won't be traded, but can go to Providence. I agree that Reilly is the most likely to be traded. Nosek could also go if one of the young kids or a UFA like Evan Rodrigues, Johan Larsson, Victor Rask, Sam Gagner, etc. can impress on a PTO. Nosek could also go to Providence.

If you want a cheap defenseman, go De Haan or Ryan Murray.
