You're joking right? Barrie is awful at 5v5. His only value comes on the Power Play. Even at $4.5M, he is significantly overpaid. He definitely doesn't return a 1st, much less a 1st AND a prospect.

Obviously you don't want him. Every Oiler Fan trades him. And people send him to buffalo because they have space. Foegele blows, and will cost you an asset to move.

41-point guy last season, which looks good on it's face, but over half of those points came on the powerplay. He's 1 of 2 defensemen in the top-100 scoring defensemen from last season that scored more points on the powerplay than at even strength (Sean Durzi was the other one).

wouldn't say foegele blows, he's played on two competitive teams. If he gets a full season of consistent 3rd line ice time I think he could turn out alright. He's still young
