That's a solid deal through Roy's prime years.

He just had a pretty good season getting one point less than 40 in 78 games.

I was thinking this was a bit much for a fourth-line center and penalty killer, but I see that he was their fourth-highest point scoring forward last season, third among forwards who are still with the team, and first in +/-, so I guess with all the injuries on the team he showed that he can play higher in the lineup without sacrificing defense. Even with Pacioretty and Dadonov gone, I don’t see him getting into the top six if everybody’s healthy, but knowing that he can do that when called upon is worth something.

Good deal, Roy’s a solid 3rd liner and fairly young, how long he stays in Vegas, time will tell

Underrated player. He’s gotta step up to make it a “steal” but there’s a lot to like here. Kids made an impact on the Vegas games I’ve watched in terms of being noticeable in a good way.

I don't know man. Playing the last two years at league minimum was "great" value. I think he should have fired his agent for that one. But, now you're paying him four times more. And you may already be looking at his upside. I like him though.

weber.......it's not that hard man. Also 3 guys on IR, the actual roster is 12/6/2 with the RFA of Hague. They should be fine

A little more than I thought he would get- especially with Vegas's cap problems, but love the player. He could get 20 goals if everything goes right.

But you need to be cap complaint on opening day, regardless off LTIR, if you want to accrue cap during the season. My understanding is this means VGK goes into the season with a zero balance on the cap, and can’t add cap at TDL.

It’s a situation that, sure means you don’t have to forfeit games, but is far from ideal.

Plus, for a team that somewhat waved last season off as “well, we had a ton of injuries,” going into the season with a 12/6/2 is, again, far from ideal.

They can move guys to the LTIR if need be from injuries, and you can be cap complaint on open day with weber's contract

By getting Weber's contract they already committed to "being an LTIR" team and NOT accruing deadline cap space
