Wonder how desperate the new FO will be to make things happen. This would definitely signal pressure to win from FA. Still need a better 3C.

Canucks should not be trading a 2023 first round pick for a 28 year old pending UFA. Even with a contract in place, the 2023 first is way too valuable for us to trade away given how weak our prospect pool is

Fair deal, but Canucks will want the pick and Hoglander. Their prospect cupboard is bare.

I think Garland or Boeser would be more realistic for both sides.
