Oh my god enough with the Kerfoot to the Devils! We wouldn't give up late picks for him, why would we give up Haula?

Devils just got Haula. No reason to make lateral move with him.

Because I said so, and because I can make my reality whatever the leafs need. Including Kerfoot for a much better value Haula.

Haula is so good he only got 8 less points than Kerfoot last year.

And only 11 less even-strength points than Kerfoot last year.

And he's barely even 4 years older than Kerfoot.

And Kerfoot's only Toronto's 2nd best PK'er.

The cap-hits make this trade a wash.

I want some of what you're taking though.

Kerfoot is more expensive and the Devils are up against the cap. This would be the Devils paying to help the Leafs' cap situation to their own detrement. There's no reason to do that trade for the Devils.

Why do you think Engvall will be the 3rd line center over Kampf? please explain.

Kampf is one of the best defensive Center men in the league. I want Robertson to grow and produce offensively and I don’t think Kampf is right for that. If I put Robertson on the 4th line then Simmonds and Kubel would be his teammates which would be fine but out of those 3, none of them play Center. I could use Gaudette at 4C but I’d rather have Simmonds in the lineup instead.
