It’s weird considering there’s a good chance Trouba gets moved once when Schneider is ready to take on a bigger role. Which could be the next season or two

Love this. Trouba is a leader and although Krieder deserves it I’m glad Troubs gets his recognition as a leader

Rangers fans hate Trouba until he gives a player a concussion on a late hit to the head then they all seem to love and defend him.

All but seals Nils' fate which is a damn shame since he never did anything wrong besides be born outside of america and be under 6 feet tall

Number of late hit or hits to the head penalties Trouba got last season................ZERO. Number of suspensions or discipline he got handed to him for any hits last season...........ZERO. All clean hits, it's not his fault people get hurt when he hits them, it's part of the game.

I wonder if you were saying the same thing when Tom Wilson slammed Panarin head first to the ice.

Because a legal body check is the same thing as grabbing a player by the hair and body slamming to the ice. Get real.

Would rather dump two firsts to get rid of him then give him captaincy and keep him on the roster and have cap problems

I’m sure Ondrej Palat heavily disagrees. And Jake Guentzel.

Who cares what they think? The dept of player safety looked at ALL of Trouba's hits and did NOTHING because they were LEGAL.

Because they are players that could have dealt with long term injuries? Trouba literally tried to take off Palat’s head and faced no penalty cause it didn’t land. But one he did get away with was hitting Guentzel from behind into the boards. By the way I love how you say the players opinions don’t matter. So I guess that also means none of the Rangers players opinion mattered when Wilson was ragdolling Panarin?

You keep comparing legal bodychecks to a thug grabbing a player half his size, by the hair no less, and body slamming him. They are not even close to the same things, so the comparison is meaningless. Trouba hasn't gotten a major penalty or a suspension on any of his hits, so the league has spoken. I don't expect players on other teams to like his hits, but since they are LEGAL, I don't care what they think. Hits are part of the game of hockey. It happens every game. If its legal, then deal with it, don't cry about it.

Considering Wilson didn’t get suspended for rag dolling Panarin then I guess it was clean

And a fine says its not legal, right? Or don't you understand that? Plus you're still comparing a fight to legal bodychecks which shows your level of hockey knowledge, which is zero.
