I'm not saying this with a sharp tone, but truly asking if you are trying to find out about the team as this seems so off.

Doubt that Sharangovich is playing third line minutes.

I can see him in 3rd line, but only if Holtz/Mercer beats him out, and it's Bratt and Palat playing #1 and #2 LW ahead of him.

I cannot see any of our RHD’s playing the left side.
Just stick Nemec in the minors for the year, dude’s gonna need at least one year of development until ready for the NHL fulltime.

Bratt plays the right side though, and Holtz on the left.

I am guessing we start with:

Sharangovich -- Hughes -- Mercer
Palat -- Hischier -- Bratt
Holtz -- Huala - Tatar
Johnsson -- McLeod -- Bastian

Siegenthaler -- Severson
Graves -- Hamilton
Walsh -- Marino

Smith, Boqvist, Dugan as scratches
Wood on IR, eventually conditioning stretch in Utica.
Zetterlund, Nemec start in AHL

Walsh played some LD in college (paired with Marino), Severson has played there for shift here and there.
I'm sure Marino would be fine there if its mostly d-zone minutes.

Bratt should definitely stick to right side.
That little fake inside, go outside move he has ....should be renamed, "The Bratt"
Hard to do from LW.

Good shout with Walsh on LD! Between him, Bahl and Okhotiuk I’d hope there’s enough talent and development to unseat Smith from 3LHD over the course of the season.

I’m not convinced playing Sevs on the left is a good idea, didn’t work out that well from what I remember of it.
As for Marino I don’t really know but I just don’t why he’d be one the left over either of Smith, Bahl, Walsh and Okhtoiuk unless there’s an injury mid game or killing a penalty together with Severson.

Yeah, Severson on left side was not great...looked out of play in neutral zone.

I say Marino since many of his minutes might be in more defensive situations. And playing off-hand in d-zone doesn't really hurt you (some guys, like Daneyko and Vatanen preferred that). It allows dman to face the play, use their stick and not block their goalie.
