Haha, absolutely not from the isles. Panik costs $250K against the cap.

Every team not named Arizona says no.

And as an isles fan I can’t tell you enough how ridiculous the Panik deal you proposed is.

You want a 1st to eat Gardiner? You realise they can just bury him and be fine? BROOOOO. Maybe a 3rd. A 1st AND A 3rd? That's ridiculous

Yeah I would include the Panik contract in a deal for a bigger name but otherwise it’s not worth it to dump him

Correction Boston can’t accept fast enough. However Foligno blocks with his NTC

None of these teams are doing that.

Canes specifically won’t. A first and a third is obscene. They could bury or buy him out or keep him and move somebody like Bear.

I don’t even think that trade deserved a response given his NTC lol. But it is hysterical that this dude thinks Panik would cost more to dump than Nick Foligno lol.

Los Angeles isn't paying twice what we paid for Kevin Fiala to acquire Jakob Chychrun. If Turcotte or Vilardi plus Sean Walker plus our 2024 first isn't enough, we'll stand pat.

There's absolutely no motive for Edmonton to pay to move LTIR contracts.

If you guys don't want Panik, he was great for the Wolves last year in the AHL. Feel free to send him back there this season when you bury him.

On a serious note, if the Isles kept the 25k cap hit or whatever, I'd think about it. As it is, you keep him.

Devils decline, Bernier is going on LTIR for a major portion of the season and would just be placed on waivers if activated.
Worst case, Devils just run a 20man roster for sometime to remain capcompliant following Berniers activation.

I wouldn’t keep the whole 250 K but I’d be willing to split 50/50 lol

Canes can't afford it. Yes, cap space is that tight right now.

You do realize LTIR only works up to 10% over the cap right?

You aren’t getting a first to take Gardiner, you’ll either get just a 3rd or he’ll be buried in the minors. Get real
