When making trades, should recognize that teams may take them but the player may say no. note whether they have a NTC or NMC and chances are a trade only works to a contender with a need with salary retained

Nylander has a no trade this year and a modified NTC next year, plus this is next year so Fabbro + Jeannot equal out to 8 mil and Nylander is 6.9

Any trade that includes NTC or even M NTC Muzzin in 23/24 is strickly fascination. The fact that the author of the post can't even think of one of 31 teams that would accept Muzzin confirms the silliness.

How is Nashville going all in when they are subtracting more than they are adding?

Nylander would be rental in this case which really hurts his value.

Not really, if Nylander gets traded now or two years ago, he wouldn't get full value, but something similar to what good rentals can fetch which could be a lot, but ultimately it's a losing trade usually if the player you are trading is a superstar. Nylander isn't the best winger and he's not playing a premium position, so chances are that the return would be underwhelming. The mistake the op made though is including Jeannot (and probably Fabbro unless they are replacing him some other way). If they are going all in they would be giving futures and an easily replaceable roster player which might be Fabbro or Tolvanen and maybe Trenin or someone else to make the cap work along with futures.

Apparently trading Fabbro and one of the best rookies in the league is worth Softlander

With a title like that you would expect this to be a Nashville team build lol, or at very least get a description as to why the only move for Nashville in this scenario is an “all in” move for them.

lol I didn't expect all this for the deal, but adding an 80 point winger is the all-in part. Not sure if Jeannot gets a lot of minutes with the addition of Nino and Tomasino coming up, plus their top 4 d-core looks pretty good with Josi - Carrier and then McDonagh - Ekholm.

no I think a lot of people write "anywhere" because there's always going to be someone who will adamantly deny taking on a deal. I could've put the Mrazek deal to Chicago on here a few months back and have Hawk fans light me up, sometimes you just can't win on here.

Well I can't think you can ever win, when trading a player a NTC or even a restrictive M NTC player to team with cap. I'm sure Muzzin has no motivation to go a team with cap (a poor team) in his last NHL season. I'll repeat , these are almost always....silly, useless trades.
And to get back to your title "Nashville all in". Don't know how trading a 24 goal scorer, and a NHL Dman for a 31 goal scorer is "all in". Seems like Nashville loses this season and probably in the future for the years of control
