That would be rough. Especially since Barzal and wahlstrom will be needing raises next year. Going to be hard to make improvements to the roster going forward

You pay for future production not the past. He had 1 season like that. He makes the team better short run but over 7 years it’s an incredible liability.

Hey doofus the team has no farm system and is bogged down by current contracts anyway. This team is built for the short term. 2027 was gonna be rough with or without Kadri
