Not Enough for miller, Canucks don’t need a left hand D Prospect, Poulin hasn’t even played in the nhl yet, he is 21 and not a lot of progress has been seen plus he has only put up 37 points in 72 games in then AHL. Remember the best player in the AHL is usually the worst in the AHL, sometimes maybe not, and yes, it has been seen before that players have suck in the AHL and been great in the NHL, but in this scenario it’s quite far fetched. Zucker put up 17 points this season and costs 5 million so no thank you and also Pittsburgh is gonna be a 1st or 2nd round exit next year giving the Canucks a late first. So. IN CONCLUSION. Canucks laugh and hang up the phone. You put garbage in the in the dumpster or you give to the teams who want it, are tanking or take it on with a valuable asset coming with it.

Canucks easy decline the Miller trade. Pickering is fantastic yes. But taking on Zucker devalues the rest of that trade so essentially Vancouver is taking Zucker for free, or are getting very underpaid for miller.

I dont get why Zucker is a bad contract. Hes expiring and battled through injuries last year.

Can’t see Pickering being traded. Pittsburgh will pursue Miller in FA before trading him.

He's under preformed most of his contract.. Even if you account for the injuries. You're not paying someone 5.5m or whatever the amount is for 0.3 ppg... He's a massive negative contract.
