(I don’t know why CF lists his weight as 196 lbs…probably his draft weight. He is 220-230 lbs these days).

It's not just league minimum, it's a two-way league minimum. ... That said, there's no way this players survives being waived. 14 games is a small sample size, but 8 points over that time is easily enough to take a risk on, if he is waived.

Right now, he's probably 13th or 14th on the Forward depth chart, assuming he beats out Mason Geertsen for a roster spot.
