Salary Cap Mode: Basic

Description

They have Kuemper. I know Kuemper wasn't that good in the playoffs, but he was solid in the regular season. The Caps made the playoffs without any difficulty with Samsonov/Vanacek. Kuemper if he stays healthy (and I think he actually will) should be a decent option in net and I think Lindgren will be a fine backup. They will miss Wilson for at least til Jan and Alexeyev will be out to start the season. But still, I can't see Ovi letting this team miss the playoffs. Backstrom is hoping to come back at some point, but for right now even without him they still should be a playoff team.

No way Brown is on teh 4th line. I'd want him up there over Sheary.

Sheary spent a good portion of the season playing with Ovi and Kuzy

Yeah and that line was quite terrible when together. Brown is a legit top 6 forward, Sheary is more bottom 6.

Pretty sure that line was together to start the playoffs lol. Lav seems to like Sheary.

In 167 minutes together: 46.75xGF%, 46.11SCF%, 42.83HDCF%, 38.96GF%

That's reaaaaally bad. If Brown was on the team last year he would be playing over Sheary.

That's pretty bad and they could put Mantha or Oshie on the top line instead. Brown would be a good fit with Dowd and Hathaway.

my guess for what lavi will do at the start of the year:

ovi-kuzy-brown
mantha-strome-oshie
mcmichael-eller-sheary
mojo-dowd-hathaway

what i would do:

ovi-kuzy-brown
mcmichael-strome-mantha
sheary-eller-oshie
mojo-dowd-hathaway

won't even try to guess what happens when wilson comes back because at least one guy will be hurt lol, but if everyone is healthy i expect sheary or mcmike to sit with brown and oshie bumped down a line
