Sabres don't do it purely based off of positional need since joker is one of two rhd on the roster.

Also that Anderson contract is kind of gross, even though I Like the way he plays.

Anderson contract is not so bad but the injuries still bad for him. Maybe Anderson could be a way to prepare the exit of Okposo after the next season?

RD is prob the sabres' weakest position, they're not in position to trade one right now

It was an honorary mention for the athletic’s ten worst nhl contracts. Imo he should’ve been on the list instead of Suzuki.

Nothing in this for the sabres, they lose a guy in a position of weakness for an expensive, older one way scoring winger who doesnt even score very much and has problems staying healthy

Maybe
But i think there’s a good chance we extend Okposo for another year or 2
He wears an “A” but basically fills the Captain role for us here,
and quite well imo

We might be willing to take Anderson off your hands, bc as previously stated, he is a good player *when not injured

But (like also said) RD is a position we just can’t trade away right now, so we wouldn’t give u Jokiharju for him

We might do a mid-late round pick for Anderson,
but i can’t see giving up more than that
His contract really is bad enough that u might have to pay to get rid of it

Another Anderson trade from a Habs fan. When will they ever learn that 5.5m third line wingers have no trade value

Jokiharju is among the worst defensemen in the league analytically. Habs should get better value next offseason when the cap increases.
