everyone relax.. don't be hypersensitive because its the leafs.. paquette and steel provide some needed bottom end depth... steel can audition on second line until knies is done school.. he was a elite player in junior
holl needs to be moved and washington doesn't have a great d core
kerfoot is way too expensive for what he is IMO... he's owed 750k the rest of the season so there is value there..
Chychrun should be a huge priority for the leafs once and if they shed holl and kerfoot

Jets don't need kerfoot for that price maybe a 6th because 3.5 in cap to get rid of isn't cheap so any return you get is gonna be underwhelming so either keep your giveaway playoff performer of seriously lower your ask

More silliness.....you really think Muzzin waives his NTC for Arizona? Really? Interesting that you think Steel can be a 2nd line winger.....none of the 32 NHL GMs think so. Leafs fans shouldn't be so hopeful that Knies is a saviour this year.

You should probably steer clear of Steel.

Zona turned down similar offer without unwanted cap space (Muzzin) coming back, plus Muzzin is not going to Zona willingly.

Just a friendly heads up as this is a common trade:

Washington actually has a pretty solid d core and doesn't have room for Holl. Full on the right side - last spot on the left is tbd as we have 3 guys in a position battle. Washington's defensive statistics were similar to Avs last year, but had horrible goaltending (so it looks worse than it actually was).

I think this year Wash d core will be pretty solid, especially with the upgrade in net.

Kerfoot has zero value to anyone not Toronto… hopefully one day you leaf fans get that through your heads.
Maybe the fact you’re trying to dump him on every team for every possible available player is a clue

I repeat.. kerfoot had more points than everyone in the jets bottom six last year.. how does he have no value to anyone else? Or are you mad that nobody wants to play for the jets?

Technically we can play TVR at LD again, like last year, and bring in a RD. But I don't think Laviolette really liked doing that all too much.

That Arizona trade is pretty insulting. Maybe start by swapping Muzzin for Sandin and then 2024 1st for the 2023 and the 2025 3rd for a 2nd. Arizona probably still says no.
