Description
Joining on the point predictions

Sid=76 games, 36 goals, 70 assists(I feel like he’s got the strength to play a lot of games this time around)
Jake=80 games, 45 goals, 50 assists(he keeps building upward and has an even better season with some career highs)
Geno=70 games, 33 goals, 48 assists(may be older but I think he can regain form being more healthier to start the year and gain more chemistry)
Letang=75 games, 16 goals, 60 assists(still identical numbers but he finds a bit more goal scoring)
Rusty=65 games, 32 goals, 34 assists(still gets injured but finds a little bit more consistency and goal scoring)
Rakell=70 games, 28 goals, 32 assists(still not a 30+30 guy but he can still put up similar numbers to that)
Petry=75 games, 14 goals, 40 assists(I feel like there’s a good chance he has a career season)
Kappy=79 games, 24 goals, 28 assists(has a nice bounce back season with some extra sauce)
Big Jeff Carter, 77 games, 25 goals, 26 assists(he can be very lethal as our 3rd line centre as long as that’s where he stays)
Heinen=78 games, 20 goals, 24 assists(goal scoring still there but he gets a little bit more points than last season)
(Other players numbers will be quite lower than the rest)
Blueger=72 games, 12 goals, 20 assists(finds a little bit more offence with Archibald or Poehling on his line)
Zucker=60 games, 15 goals, 16 assists(has a nice little bounce back playing a bit more games)
McGinn=70 games, 14 goals, 16 assists(feels like it would be close to what he’ll put up)
POJ=75 games, 8 goals, 20 assists(wins a spot in the line up and sticks around)
Pettersson=76 games, 2 goals, 22 assists(finds more offence playing with Petry)and on another note he’s still someone I think gets traded
Dumo=70 games, 4 goals, 18 assists
Archibald=60 games, 11 goals, 10 assists
Rutta=75 games, 4 goals, 12 assists
Dramatic drop as we get to the depth players
Smith=35 games, 4 goals, 10 assists(amount of games depends on if there’s a defencemen moved out)
Poehling=Around 20 games, 4 goals, 5 assists
Nylander=around 20 games, 6 goals, 9 assists(I think he can have an impressive showing if given the chance and plays well to possibly be a main stay)
O’Connor=between 15 to 20 games, 5 goals, 5 assists
Friedman=Between 10-15 games, 0 goal, 3 assists

Jarry, 60 games, 36 wins, 18 losses, 6 OT/SO losses
DeSmith 24 games, 12 wins, 5 losses, 5 OT/SO Losses(I forgot to do maths lol)
Extra games to DeSmith and Jarry as you can’t expect both goalies to have a good night every night and definitely will get pulled at times.
Only difference this year I think Sully will have more trust in DeSmith to play him more often rather than overplay Jarry. It should help Jarry get better rest and more consistency and be in the race for at least top 5 in Vezina. But however DeSmith’s improvement in the second half of this recent season can be really good for Jarry.

Yes I know I have a lot of good numbers up there but I feel like the experience in everyone can pay off with this team. A playoff team we still are. Stanley Cup? Getting there. Everything has to add up first. Considering we do have the oldest team in the league, we’d really need this to be like the 2011 Dallas Mavericks team.

I really hope those numbers come true, but you have 362 total goals scored or 22 more than FLA, 50 more than the Avs and 90 more than we had last year so I think you might be just a bit on the high side lol

Everything gotta add up. Potential can be high for this team I think. There’s been a lot of offence added with Petry on the team and he can help bring more scoring. Geno is on the healthier side. I guess I’m just feeling good with our team this season.

Malkin and Letang too high. I see Malkin scoring 70-75 points in like around 67 games. Letang imo probably gets a little less than 60 points in around 75-78 games. Rakell a little high. I agree that Petry will be good but I think he (and Carter) will have around 45 points. Rust is probably slightly less than point per game.

I think Geno can put up around numbers posted because his offence was still there this past season, but most of his own numbers came from him. His linemates just never could finish for the chances he’d create. Letang I think will post big numbers again. He had a lot going for him and just seemed like he was playing his best hockey this past season. He just needs the goal scoring to be there a bit more. Petry and Carter I think can both put up between 45-50 points each.

Love the optimism. I'd settle for 40-50 less goals than that and still be quite happy.

It’s a lot of goals to process.

I appreciate the thought and work that goes into these - but as mentioned by others, that goal total just isn't going to work. I think the highest the Pens have ever scored in the Crosby/Malkin era is around 290. You're at 362
