Probably could happen now, but no way the Pens would give up a 2nd to lose less than 2 months of Zucker's cap at the deadline. Pretty sure the same goes for FLA and Horny.

I’d have to mostly agree with that. You’d have to think whoever the Pens or Panthers are targeting at the deadline, the other team would be willing to take back Zuck’s or Horn’s contract in the deal. I suppose these deals could take place a little before the deadline or these are in the event the other teams don’t want to take on the money at the deadline.

That could make sense as well. However, I sort of angled the value going to EDM, as a 2 player combo with an additional year of term and control beyond that. Hronek & Zadina each have another year on their deals at a combined <$4m with the retainment and I believe they are both RFA’s at the conclusion of those deals

Maybe in the beginning of the season but as it progresses and those contracts get smaller, the easier it’ll be.

Don't see the Kings doing that trade.

We have 15 forwards on the roster right now, including an entirely acceptable top 9, so Puljujarvi isn't on our wish list, and Durzi looks very much like he will be top-4 material. Los Angeles declines.

Yeah, I just thought with the seemingly NHL ready depth they have in their pipeline on the right side, he could be expendable, if not now then maybe at the deadline or after the year.

Durzi does look good, potentially a top 4 guy but as I mentioned in the previous reply, the Kings depth could make him expendable should they be in the market for another forward at the deadline.

I could see them moving him in a package for Chychrun potentially but, I feel like he isn’t in the Kings long term plans with the guys they’ve got coming up at RD and the likely double salary after this year for Durzi.
