I feel like from what we’ve seen recently vegas gets “taxed” in trades because of the way they do business. If fleury or Pacioretty were getting traded from any other team I doubt all they get is future considerations

No way Vegas is giving up Thompson for Varly. A package for Varly I could see, but no way Thompson is involved.

They got taxed for freeing up 7M this is doing the Iles a favor lol

They had leverage because of the cap situation. Just like how OTT had to pay to get rid of Murray. NHL teams don't share your righteous indignation.
