Thought it was a helly trade, ya Dubois add doesn’t make a whole lot of sense especially for that much future

But imagine the story, Thompson goes from third string goalie to starter overnight, overcomes a toxic organization, and finishes the quest for the cup! They could sell that script to Disney!

But yeah, no, it wouldn't happen, if for no other reason than this team is 3 mil over the cap when Broissoit is back, and only has one goalie until then.

Lehner is out for the season. I'm assuming he is either done for good or moved next off season.

vegas is in win-now mode. they need to take advantage of lehners cap now and they need to replace patches offense over anything. Dubois was killer with stone and Marchy at the world championships in 2019.

No need to insult me dude, I know he took the backup role from Brossoit last, I was just massaging details for improving the story a bit. At the start of last season he was your third string guy.

I understand how IR works, just may not be familiar with how things are calculated on ACGMs, I thought it took them "off cap" when you put them in IR.

Either way, still 800k over with this roster, and already running a skeleton crew.

Because Dubois will be an RFA at the end of the year needing a raise. Are you paying all that to get rid of Dubois next offseadon?
