Hanifin really solidifies our defense and I don’t know how long Grzelcyk or Zacha stay with the team so I don’t mind the trade though it is a bit of an overpay. Calgary dumps cap, switched Hanifin with Grzelcyk which is a significant downgrade. But they also get a 1st, Zacha, and Frederic. The package makes sense and Boston can give that up, but value wise, Boston either should get more of give up less.

No thanks. Boston has no business trading 1sts unless a top 6 center under 25 is coming back and Looch isn’t.

I agree with this 100%

But I see Sweeney trading One or more of Reilly Grzelyck Frederic Foligno will be trade this season

I think Sweeney has learned his lesson with trading 1sts. Only way I see him trading another one is for a established top 6 center under 25

Every part of this team should still be strong next year except center so that is exactly what we need.
