Davidson didn’t overpay Seth Jones and this is a 1 yr contract worth $1.3M on a team with nearly $11M of cap space. Lol relax with the overpay talk.

Seems a bit much for a player you could replace with a waiver claim in a couple of months.

The no's here seem odd to me. They paid a 24 year old who played 16:30 minutes of over 50% d zone starts that at least treaded water 150 over the waivable amount. A team like Chicago is the place to do that as there is a small chance of upside and they may as well see if he has it. It won't hurt them to give him minutes to see if he can be more

How is this a bad contract? One year less than 1.5 on a team with heaps of cap space. Very serviceable dman here.
