This is less than his QO isn't it? I wonder if there'll be some performance bonuses lumped in.

cant have performance bonuses unless its an ELC or 35+ contract or if player was injured the year before...
probably this will be one way tho, whereas his QO was 2 way, so itll guarantee him more in case he got sent down, and deter hawks from sending him down

Thanks, always forget about that PB rule. I figured he might take the 2-way given the Hawks situation and he's somewhat established but a trade is always possible and he did get sent down for a short stint early last year so I guess the solidified salary is more valuable at this point. Hopefully just pennies to him by the end of his career.

Plus I think his QO is much lower than I originally thought

League min...kind of shocked. Wasn’t expecting a huge number but that’s surprising.

Kurashev = Hinostroza, Kahun, Hayden, Kampf

AKA: he’s a capable third liner with a decent centerman or at best he’s the worst forward on your second like at best.

AKA v2.0: This guy never earns above 2.5 million on the cap hit unless the ceiling jumps dramatically.

yeah i hope hes up all year... i could see him having chemistry with Reichel since both speak German as their first language, but Kurashev is definitely among the most skilled players there right now

I’m a big fan of Kurashev. Hopefully he can turn it around this year a bit. Maybe get more looks on PP and offensive zone. Can’t believe he’s only given league minimum.

Sometimes players sign less than the QO because they get and one-way deal and the QO is a two-way
