Hasnt Arizona said they need to take back salary in the Chych deal?

Youre definitely getting Zaitsev in a Sens trade.

Zaitsev, Branny, Jarventie, 2023 1st (top5 protected), Higher of the 2024 seconds, Ostapchuk

Moving Zaitsev would be ideal for the Sens. I feel like they would maybe have to add a pick to make sure he is in the deal.

I don’t think the Sens would ever move Pinto or Greig. Everything they’ve said is they plan on keeping both. If they have to walk away from Chychrun, I’d go after Severson

I orginally had Formenton in over Pinto but with the whole investigation, you cannot do much with the player right now.

Agreed. Formenton would’ve been the one to be moved and now idk. But with hockey Canada thing going on, it makes Greig and Pinto unmoveable too

I dont think they were involved in the year in question, but I guess it complicates things in general.

They weren't. It was more of the impact of missing said players from the lineup and having Pinto and Greig as replacements for said players involved in the charges.

3 picks and a prospect for Fischer and 5 mil cap space.
I’ll take that deal any day

Can't see Ottawa giving up that package. Dorion has already cited he's likely keeping his 2023 1st rounder. Plus it's known that Arz is very high on Sokolov.

To Ott;
J. Chychryn

To ARZ;

N. Zaitsev, L. Thomson, 2024 1st Rounder (no protection), E. Sokolov, and higher of the 2024 2nd rounders. Arz is carefully placing themselves in a good spot for when Matthews becomes UFA. I believe he is 100% going to end up in Arizona.

Arizona probably isn't moving him to Ottawa without one of Greig or Pinto. Greig/Pinto, '23 1st(top 10 protected), Brannstrom and Zaitsev is probably what the Yotes would be looking at. If they don't get their price met, so be it, they have no reason to take a lesser deal for him.
