That’s a no from Columbus, no need for a depth wing, I’d rather keep the pick.

No way Buffalo is offer sheeting Miller in that range. Rangers fan made the ACGM though so it makes sense.

They aren't paying 10 million per for Kane.

Bjork is waiver fodder, no ones trading for him.

Olofsson is worth more to Buffalo than those mid round picks.

So many other things wrong with this.

Speaking as someone who watches K'Andre a good amount, if the 2024 draft is moderate to low, any team needing a top end LHD should do this....Buffalo however with Dahlin and Power I can understand passing.

Trade a 30 goal scorer for a 3rd, waste a ton of money and picks, that's not how you make a team better. The Sabres are also not going to be close to drafting Bedard. Delusional

Another reason why a team like the Sabres should never offer sheet. That first rounder still might be a lottery pick. And for 6.75m teams can sign a good UFA, and keep their picks.

Why would vegas want to wait another year for probably a worse pick?

Olofsson worth far more. I'm not a tage Thompson fan, I'd pump the brakes on a contract like that- he doubled his career shooting percentage and his 30 assists are on the light side if wanna treat him like a #1 center, let's see what this year looks like first. Offer sheeting a left d for us is ridiculous, we are all set at left d. Plus I'm guessing that we are supposed to be winning Bedard and offer sheeting with 2024 draft picks? Doesn't matter, we won't be bad enough to get a real look at Bedard, if our division wasn't stacked I would say this would be a year we compete for the playoffs, but it won't be this year. I don't think I would sign Kane to a 5 year contract, not at 10 million.

Olofsson, even if you disagree he's worth way more than a throwaway 3rd based on his past numbers

It's not going to be eligible to win the 1st overall

If a team finishes out out of the playoffs, it's still a lottery pick. Yeah, I don't expect Sabres, to picking 1st....maybe 10th, but offer sheets are generally bad value. Paying UFA prices for Hague and the picks too,. I love the path the Sabres are on, but this is a bad value "trade"

The lottery is changing though so if they finish 15th the highest they can move is 6th or 7th and thats a .8 and . 3% chance any way. So I'm not really worried about that

lol you can’t just say he’s a 30 goal scorer when his season high is 20 even if you think he’ll do better than that. That’s like me saying Jack Hughes is a 100 point player

I disagree. Next offseason is the perfect time to offer sheet someone. They have plenty of prospects coming up the ranks. After the 2023 draft, they simply won't have room for more and they should be in the playoffs in 2024, so the picks would be in the 16-32 range. Offer sheeting would be a great opportunity to pinpoint someone that could help them make that leap.

2019-2023 drafts:
10 1st round picks* (including Krebs)
7 2nd round picks *

*If they keep their 2023 1st and 3 2nds.

And, they have been seemingly hitting on late-round picks too (Rousek, Nadeau, Bloom)
