Also Seider, Weegar, Chabot below Dahlin?
Letang is way too low. But besides that good list. I’d include Hampus Lindholm ahead of Josh Morrissey.

Dahlin had 53pts and played on the worst offensive team by far. I think he’s underrated right now

I think Slavin is great and underrated but McAvoy does more.
Slavin is a phenomenal defensive defenseman but has great iq and solid offense. McAvoy is a complete beast both ways and his skating ability allows him to drive play much more then Slavin.

Sorry I just critique every mistake I see in my opinion. I only have a few so that means you have a good list here.

Someone explain Chabot over Werenski please? I don't see how his 1 great season where he was better than Werenski outweighs the other ones where Werenski was clearly better or even with Chabot anymore.

McAvoy to me is a complete defenseman. Not too many like that anymore. Hedmen. Pietrangelo. Doughty (yeah yeah contract, he’s still amazing). Heiskanen I think out of the young guys has the most potential to be like these guys.

The poster is a Sens fan. So I mean that could be the easiest explanation… my take is Chabot has more potential to be the complete D man than Werenski…

They’re neck and neck every single season. I think it comes down to preference. Some ppl will say Chabot is better and others will take Werenski

If Chabot wasn’t constantly dragged down by Zaitsev , he’d be so much better . With better talent like this upcoming year, I think he’s a 60pt Dman

I’d say Werenski has had the luxury of playing with Jones for most of his career as well as a better defensive team. Guys like Foligno and Jenner certainly made things a tad easier on the backend. Chabot has never had that luxury. So I have to agree with you here.

The kings have shown they are just fine without Doughty on the roster I’d trade him while he still has some value

Brodie is an awesome pairing. Makes everyone he plays with better. But when Rielly isn’t in the lineup the Leafs are white dog $hit. We’ve seen it many times.

A comparable to Brodie for me is Tanev in Calgary.

11 mill is tough to move and contending teams don’t have that cap space

Agreed with csick. Tough to move. But I don’t know man. If Doughty was playing this spring it doesn’t even go 7 games with the oilers. More like Kings in 5.

I think recency bias plays a big factor in how ppl value players .

Just keepin' it 100: Faulk is better than a good 35-40% of that list. He's certainly better than Krug and at least level with Parayko. He's not the same player he was in Carolina anymore.

I debated him putting him on that list but my feeling was he was the #3D on St Louis but I guess I’m wrong haha
