32 in 32 lineups - Buffalo Sabres

Created by: zk97
Team: 2022-23 Buffalo Sabres
Initial Creation Date: Aug. 13, 2022
Published: Aug. 13, 2022
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
The Sabres are a very interesting team. They have a very good young core, but none of them have put anything big together yet, save for Tage Thompson. The team probably has their roster set unless they sign a free agent or make a trade.

Looks good, except that Granato's job will be a lot harder if and when Peterka has a great camp and shows he is ready for the NHL. Where do you play him? Personally I'd be okay with him playing on a line with Z and Okie but only if he gets PP time as well.

i think that he'll play on the third line with cozens and quinn. maybe cozens and krebs switch lines because i think peterka - krebs - quinn lit it up in the minors if my memory serves correctly.
asplund gets moved down to the fourth line, hinostroza is scratched, and sheahan goes to the minors

I think Peterka and Cozens absolutely have to play together. They will be a lethal combo on the rush. I think Mittelstadt should play with them but Quinn or Olofsson would be good fits too.

That could work except Asplund deserves more than 4th line mins. He showed what he can do with more ice time at the WC
